This training is designed for local leaders from DART-affiliated organizations who are interested in going beyond local training sessions to practice skills for continuing to build a powerful, grassroots, multi-issued, congregation-based organization in their community. Veteran organizers lead training sessions on a diverse set of topics beginning with the biblical basis for justice work, continuing by developing an understanding of, and skills in, such topics as one-to-one meetings, issue development, and fund-raising, and concluding with a role play of a direct action.
